Root canal treatment

A root canal treatment addresses or prevents tooth infection in the tooth's root canal. Sometimes a tooth needs a root canal to create attachment for a prosthetic construction. While general dentists also perform root canal treatment, more complex cases are referred to specialist clinics like Endo.lu. The prognosis for a root canal treatment performed by specialist dentists is very good.

Root tip surgery

Root tip surgery, or apicoectomy, is a more advanced procedure than root canal treatment. It is performed to treat an infection in the root canal that is not deemed treatable with conventional root canal treatment. As a more advanced procedure it requires more expertise from the practitioner and a specialized equipment. The prognosis for root tip surgery performed by a specialist dentist is very favourable.

Dr. Marc Ney

I am Marc Ney, a licensed dentist in Luxembourg since 2008. Following a comprehensive two-year specialist training, I obtained my diploma as Master of Science in Endodontics from the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in 2014. My skills have since been further refined through ongoing training at the University of Pennsylvania.
